Out with the Old Plastics, in with the New Reusables

Been doing a lot of cleaning lately and started to de-clutter our tiny home.

I found a lot of plastic bottles that i cannot re-use anymore and some metal car parts that's rusting so I decided to bring it to a local junk shop and have it recycled.

Also, did a lot of cleaning and clearing out from the Kitchen and found way too many microwavable containers than we need. I decided to give it to a local food shop so that they can re-use it if they need to.

Thinking about switching from Sponges to Wooden Brushes for washing the dishes. Based on my research and some videos online, I found that sponges are full of bacteria and is harmful to the environment. Thinking of buying this from either Lazada or Shopee:

Also, since I've been doing a lot of cleaning in the kitchen, I've stumbled on my stash of HannsGuard Dehumidifiers that I've been using to eliminate the odor under my sink:
I'm thinking about ditching these plastic de-humidifiers to the more re-usable and eco-friendly Xiaomi Deerma Dehumidifier. It's an electronic dehumidifier that can be re-used by just plugging it in a wall socket.

Looked into some reviews and found it was pretty reliable and easy to use. The Orange beads turn dark when it absorbs moisture and just plug it in to dry the beads up again. The reviews say that it shouldn't be left plugged in all the time though, or it might cause fires. Looking forward to testing it out and perhaps doing a review of my own as well.

Speaking of Electronics, I have a bunch of old smart phones that are currently decommissioned. I've been really wanting to get them fixed and selling them off but I'm not sure if they're still worth the trouble. I think I can sell them off to someone for scraps but maybe I can also have them fixed and use them as a spare. What do you think? Currently have the following:
  • Meizu MX4
  • Meizu Pro 7
  • Vivo V11i (soon)
  • LG phone
